JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Wilkes-Barre is accepting applications for a part time Enrollment Services/Bilingual Admissions Counselor.

This position will be responsible for recruitment initiatives that guide prospective students and their families through the admissions process at the Pennsylvania State University and at Penn State Wilkes-Barre.

This position will counsel, advise, and present to groups of students and individuals or other groups in person, online, and via telephone about education options at Penn State.The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and become a trusted resource throughout the enrollment cycle, sharing knowledge about the admissions process, academic programs, financial aid, campus life, and University structure, working across departments as needed.The candidate will demonstrate communication skills preferably in both fluent English and Spanish, spoken and written. The candidate will ideally spend their time communicating with prospective students in both English and Spanish, visiting high schools, attending community events, and working both small- and large-scale events on campus. Excellent customer service skills are required for this position.

Requirements/Qualifications Typically requires a bachelor's degree;direct college admissions experience is preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred Experience in and knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office suite is preferred The ability to manage concurrent projects and a high level of detail with accuracy is required Travel is required and some weekend work is necessary This is a part-time position with up to 24 hours per week available

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
