Position Summary

Introducing Nestlé Purina’s new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory – just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. This world-class factory is being built from the ground up to produce a wide variety of some of the most trusted and beloved pet care brands in the U.S. Our passionate team in Williamsburg Township will work in an environment that values safety, the latest technology in manufacturing and a culture of learning. As Production Supervisor, you are responsible for management of people, quality, safety, planning, output, equipment maintenance and sanitation across your production lines. You will coordinate cross-functionally with other team leads to ensure optimized factory operations and drive continuous improvement efforts. In this lead role, you will establish and foster a culture of accountability and standards that promotes safe, quality behaviors. You will engage, coach and develop individuals to successfully contribute to the achievement of team performance goals.

The first several months of this position will require travel for training purposes to other Nestlé Purina factory locations. There will be little to no travel required once the Williamsburg Township facility is operational.

  • Lead and support frontline associates in the production of dry pet food

  • Empower and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, training and recognition

  • Promote and maintain a culture of standards, emphasizing safety, quality and efficient, sustainable delivery

  • Manage the production technician schedule to maximize output while minimizing costs

  • Ensure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within good manufacturing practices (GMP)

  • Utilize problem solving and collaboration skills to reduce downtime, optimize staffing, continuously improve operational efficiency and meet customer demand

  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance and warehouse leadership to complete training, repairs and projects

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience leading people in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment

OTHER

  • Prior to factory operational startup, must be willing to travel approximately 50% for training purposes to other Nestlé Purina factory locations

  • Once the factory starts up, the schedule will transition to a 2-2-3 format and the shift for this position will be 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000 to $90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
