The Colonial Williamsburg Hotels are seeking a driven and results-oriented Remote Sales Manager to join our team. In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in generating new group business and fostering existing client relationships. *This is a remote position, based out of Virginia and/or the greater Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and secure new, referred, and repeat group business, focusing on accounts within the DC region and the Northeast.

  • Develop and present compelling proposals that showcase the Colonial Williamsburg Resorts' unique offerings and maximize revenue potential.

  • Maintain and grow a comprehensive database of accounts and leads.

  • Actively prospect and qualify potential clients through industry events, sales initiatives, and other channels.

  • Partner with internal departments (Convention Services, Catering, Revenue Management) to ensure seamless event execution.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, Global Sales Offices, industry partners, and internal teams.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales action plans to achieve monthly room night goals.

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics.

  • Participate in training opportunities offered by Crescent Hotels and Resorts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Business, Communications, or Hotel Management.

  • Five or more years of successful sales experience in the meetings/conventions hotel industry.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and generating new business.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and group business practices.

  • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to Williamsburg, VA.
