Employer is seeking housekeepers to perform a variety of cleaning duties for the hospital, clinic, and/or office. Must has High School or GED, previous experience is preferred but not required. Cleaning duties includes walls, floors, equipment, bath areas, furniture, ceilings, elevators, staircases, windows, etc, using universal precautions and appropriate equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patient, staff and visitors. Must know how to use common housecleaning implements such as mops, floor waxes and scouring pads. Must know how to care for equipment, measure cleaning solutions and be alert to hazards. Will empty trash receptacles, collect dirty laundry from patients' room and deliver to washing areas, distribute clean linen and surgical gowns to appropriate floors. Must have ability to follow oral or written instructions. Performs other duties as assigned. Physical effort required by the job include standing, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25lbs.
