Atlantic Emergency Solutions has an entry-level opening for a full-time Shop Assistant at our Hagerstown Service Center.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Daily cleaning for the shop
  • Minor building maintenance
  • Heavy-truck detailing, inclusive of interiors and exteriors
  • Running shop errands
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned

The successful candidate needs to be able to follow direction and assist the team with variety of tasks performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.

Requirements

Position requires the candidate to be at least 18 years of age and have one year of work experience or an equivalent of combination of education and experience. A valid drivers license with acceptable driving record with the ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is required. Further a CDL, Class B with Tanker Endorsement must be obtained within designated timeframe from date of hire. The successful candidate will also complete a pre-employment drug screen and will be subjected to random alcohol and controlled substance testing. Candidate must be able to lift up to 40lbs unassisted and having a fork lift certification is preferred.
