DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Basic Qualifications

Education/Training:  An Associates degree with an emphasis in a business curriculum preferred; specialized bank education or training.

Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills; proficient mathematics skills; proficient PC skills; knowledge of various PC applications and software; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; visual and auditory skills.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience directly related to loan processing or document preparation preferred. 

General Responsibilities Responsible for performing a variety of duties relating to closing, interfacing of loan products and HMDA Reporting; coordinating work within the department, with other departments, as well as external partners; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.

Essential Duties 1. Performs a variety of duties relating to the origination and sale of loan products of which the following are illustrative: 1. Assists with all aspects of PHFA, Freedom Mtg, FHLB as well as portfolio mortgage closing, funding, Interfacing and HMDA Reporting. 2. Utilizes all internal and external Loan Origination software to control the timely closing, funding, interfacing and accuracy of each individual application. 3. Prepare the Closing Disclosure in accordance with all TRID compliance and timing requirements. 4. Prepare all Closing Documentation in accordance with each Lenders/Investor/Program Specifications. 5. Responsible for sending wire to settlement agent for net funding of Loan Proceeds. 6. Utilizes CCMC to books/interfaces the required loans using the available software and prepares reports or ledgers as required for HMDA purposes. 7. Maintains dialogue with existing loan applications in order to offer superior customer service and assists in coordinating the loan closin 8. Provides administrative assistance to Vice President / Mortgage Operations Manager. 9. Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of department procedures. 2. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department, with other departments, as well as with external partners (settlement agents etc) in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information and superior customer service. 3. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place. 4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act(ECOA), etc. 5. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel. 6. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
