Description

We are looking for a full time Administrative Assistant to become a part of our team in Williamston, Michigan. The role involves providing essential support to our sales team, which includes interacting with customers, addressing their inquiries, and keeping accurate customer records. This contract to permanent opportunity presents a chance to work in a specialized market, where meticulousness and proficiency in Excel and Office Suite are highly valued.

Key responsibilities:

• Interact with customers to address their inquiries and provide excellent customer service

• Send quotes to customers and suggest upselling opportunities when suitable

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Keep accurate customer credit records

• Use Excel and Office Suite for data management and chart creation

• Provide essential support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments and managing email correspondence

• Manage shipping documentation and operations

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls as needed

• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, particularly when managing order forms

Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience in managing email correspondence professionally and promptly.

• Familiarity with both inbound and outbound call handling, ensuring clear and effective communication.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data organization, analysis, and reporting.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for managing emails, calendars, contacts, and tasks.

• Ability to create effective presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Experience with Microsoft Word for drafting and editing documents.

• Ability to schedule appointments accurately, considering priorities and time management.

• Experience in shipping & receiving, including documentation and operational aspects.

• Understanding of shipping functions, including packing, labeling, and tracking shipments.
