Pay Rate: $16.75 to $18.75 depending on experience and benefits.
Sign on bonus full time 37.5 hours: Up to $3,000 (part time 22.5hours up to $1500)
Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
responsible to assist or complete resident activities of daily living according to the care plan for assigned patients/reside
assists patients/residents to get in and out of beds, chairs, wheelchairs, lounge chairs, tubs, scales and other equipment used in resident care
assists patients/residents with meals, passes meal trays, helps them set up prior to eating or may be required to totally feed as needed. Records meal consumption per policy
Passes nourishments and records the amounts consumed
Protects the patient/resident’s privacy at all times while caring for them
Is responsible for the safe operation or application of various pieces of equipment such as: scales, splints, arm protectors, positioning devices, specialized mattresses and adaptive equipment of various designs
Maintains the patient/resident’s room, bath and personal belongings in a clean, orderly condition
Maintains resident rights
Maintains HIPAA privacy, security and confidentiality standards

Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age
No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work well with and show respect towards fellow staff members, physicians, residents and family members
Caring and compassionate bedside manner
Respect for residents’ privacy and rights; display of genuine concern for the elderly
Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness and kindness
Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
