Catholic Health Initiatives Clinic RN in Williston, North Dakota

Overview

As our Clinic RN at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, you will utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient’s response in a defined outpatient clinic setting. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care specialty care family medicine 3D mammography orthopedics neurology and several other health services to our Williston community.

We are offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care, by assisting with patient exams and multiple clinic procedures, implement treatments, and evaluate patient outcomes

  • Perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings, prepare sterile field for suturing, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy

  • Provides patient and family education

  • Assists with patient transports and transfers

  • Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, and transcribe provider’s orders

  • Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms

  • Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the clinic

  • Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies

  • Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures

  • Assists in all areas of the clinic

Qualifications

Required Education for Staff Job Levels

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • Registration by the State of North Dakota Board of Nursing

  • Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Minimum Experience

  • Clinic RN experience not required but is preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilitie

  • Strong oral communications skills

  • Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people

  • Strong critical thinking skills

  • Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Pay Range

$27.77 - $40.27 /hour
