Description

We are in search of a Graphic Designer to join our team in the industry located in WILLOUGHBY, Ohio, 44094-6340, United States. As a Graphic Designer, you will be tasked with creating and managing digital and print designs for our needs.

POSITION GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator will be an integral part of the Marketing Department and report to the Director of Marketing. This position will be responsible for all creative elements associated with branding, proposals, sponsorships, internal/external communication, digital media and social media. Additionally, this role will be experienced in producing high quality, appealing and engaging creative pieces that invites the reader to want to learn more.

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing and updating creative for all media channels, including website, social media, magazine and print publications, internal digital boards, email newsletters, signage and company collateral.

  • Develop graphic elements associated with new business proposals, marketing material, award submissions and company events.

  • Conceptualize and create content for digital advertising platforms such as: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

  • Assist in developing company brand and style guidelines and ensure they are consistently used in marketing materials.

  • Manage creative work from conception to completion.

  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing and other internal team members to brainstorm creative concepts and layout ideas for all media channels.

  • Additional marketing duties as deemed necessary.

    Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Marketing Communications, or related field.

Knowledge Required: Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and Lightroom. Premier Pro and XD strongly preferred.

Experience Required: 3 – 5 years as a Graphic Designer or Marketing Coordinator

Skills/Abilities:

  • Creative concept and design development, creative writing, effective storytelling ability, digital illustration, typography, rhetoric and composition skills.

  • Need to be able to follow directions and style-guides, as well as have layout, design, digital and print production, and image retouching/manipulation skills.

  • Familiarity with asset/content management systems beneficial.

  • Must be highly detail-oriented and deadline sensitive.

  • Strong design and production skills are essential in this position.

  • Good communication skills a must.

  • Desire to manage and grow with company

  • Knowledge of Canva a plus

  • Knowledge of Wordpress CMS a plus

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus

  • SEO knowledge and experience a plus

  • Photography and videography skills a plus.
