Description

We are offering a contract for a Medical Billing Specialist position in Wilmington, Delaware. The role is based in the healthcare industry and will require you to provide excellent patient service, manage medical claims, and maintain precise patient records.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in medical claim management, including Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Workers Comp, and Auto Claims.

• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of rebilled claims.

• Facilitate effective patient communication through regular mailings.

• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing and resolving patient inquiries promptly.

• Leverage your knowledge in Appeals, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Claim Administration, Collection Processes, and Medical Billing in performing your daily tasks.

• Assist in the preparation and dispatch of patient statements.

• Execute collection efforts diligently to guarantee timely payment for medical services.

Requirements

• Strong skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with Appeals processes

• Understanding of Benefit Functions within the medical billing domain

• Knowledge of Billing Functions and associated tasks

• Experience in Claim Administration
