Overview:

Supports more experienced team members on large-scale, complex transformation initiatives, or strategically important short-term engagements, that deliver business outcomes. Participates in gathering and analyzing information that supports problem, scope, and outcome definitions as well as creating related communications and documentation. Completes routine analyses and research in support of execution and delivery of business goals and strategies. This function serves as independent 3rd party advising and supporting internal stakeholders on transformation delivery and execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leverage multiple Transformation Delivery Tools to ensure all action items, risks, decisions, and issues are identified, captured and escalated appropriately. Ensure follow-up on all critical items and drive accountability through documentation of deliverables and owners to ensure continued progress against plan.

• Support the creation of templated and ad-hoc roadmaps, change management plans, timelines, and continuous status reporting, governance frameworks and other artifacts to support and participate in discussions and workshops intended to define priorities, objectives, success measures, customer experiences, and outcomes.

• Develop routine communications on transformation initiatives used across various levels in the organization with high attention to detail and quality.

• With direction, analyze information, determine feasibility of solutions and make recommendations to support Transformation Delivery Leads/Managers.

• Document meeting discussions and summarize takeaways to drive accountability and transparency.

• Support, and at times, own the resolution of routine issues.

• Develop an institutional and banking knowledge of M&T's people, business processes and workflows, products, and technologies.

• Develop, track and report on outcomes and key measures of success for transformation initiatives.

• Learn new transformation delivery tools and techniques to develop knowledge and experience with these.

• Build relationships with key stakeholders to support effective delivery of outcomes.

• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Education and Experience Required:

Associates degree and a minimum of 3 years’ work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ work experience

Proven verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented

Proven intellectual curiosity

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelors degree preferred

Recent experience with project, program, portfolio, or change management

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $27.24 - $45.40 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
