Job Description

A global manufacturing company is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join the team on "Project Firebird" to rationalize the number of products they have. This person will be an expert in packaging regarding plastic bags, jugs, corrugated cases , metallic drums, etc. This person will be working to identify more cost-effective packaging types for powders and liquids from 50-1,000lbs. They will be working very close with procurement and will report to the project manager. This team works with 25 different suppliers and global teams (working EST hours). This role is fully remote and will be traveling to sites once per month (fully expensed).

Skills and Requirements

5-10 years of packaging experience.

Experience working in a manufacturing plant or manufacturing experience

Experience working on projects with timelines and structure

Experience working in bulk storage null
