Citigroup SVP – Cards Pricing Strategy and Analytics in Wilmington, Delaware

Citi’s United States Personal Bank (USPB) has a unique opportunity to leverage its consumer relationships, customer base, footprint, state of the art technology and leading consumer banking position to deliver customer value in a targeted and impactful way. We are seeking to hire a SVP, Cards Pricing Strategy & Analytics to be part of the USPB Cards Pricing and Statement Operations team.

The SVP, Cards Pricing Strategy & Analytics position will report directly to the Head of Pricing Strategy and Optimization for USPB Cards (Branded Cards and Citi Retail Services) and will be responsible for developing pricing strategies grounded in data, customer, and operational insights. This individual will leverage financial analysis to enhance portfolio profitability through risk based pricing, balancing customer experience and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role will partner across multiple teams, and frequently engage with senior leadership across Product, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive pricing strategy recommendations based on in-depth customer insights (both quantitative and qualitative), sound financial impact forecasting and thorough understanding of competitive landscape and regulatory environment

  • Prepare and present pricing strategy recommendations to leadership and collaborate cross functionally to drive business decisions

  • Update senior leaders on progress and influence the organization to support the pricing agenda

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive strategy forward, setting milestones and measuring success

  • Evaluate new initiatives by developing financial sizings, weighing risk / reward tradeoffs, assessing customer impact, and various other key factors

  • Retrieve data and conduct data driven analytics using various analytical tools, software, and techniques

  • Understand regulatory implications associated with pricing policy and develop mitigation / opportunity strategies

  • Communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders

Candidate Qualifications

  • 10+ years in product management, pricing, data analytics, risk, or similar function (Financial Services / Credit Card industry preferred)

  • Ability to engage with diverse internal stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, oversight functions, etc.) and manage through influence

  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and application to existing Cards and pricing processes

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to derive actionable business insights from data analysis

  • Highly proficient in SAS, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Understands Credit Card products and economics, P&L drivers, and market dynamics

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a matrixed environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation skills to senior audience members

  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple, complex projects at once with minimal guidance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$169,600.00 - $254,400.00
