Description What you will do: The Manager of CRO position reports to the Director, Engineering & Shops and is responsible for the Component Repair and Overhaul Unit. Responsibilities include providing leadership and strategic oversight for the department, increasing sales, managing operating budgets costs, and responsibility for P&L, while developing & maintaining necessary skill sets of the CRO team to accomplish the business goals set forth by the Director, Engineering & Shops. What you need: High School Diploma or GED 5 years of managerial experience with part 121 or part 145 repair station. Combined 10 years technical/managerial experiences with a part 121 air line or part 145 repair station with proven experience in line, heavy or component repair maintenance. Demonstrated business management skills including supervision, budgetary oversight and customer interface. Verbal, written, presentation, problem solving & interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, train and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of employees and management. Ability to learn accounting and budgeting principals necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements, financial reports and meet financial objectives for assigned area and programs. Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign and coordinate workload of assigned area and employees within a multiple project setting. Develop strategic goals and have the ability to communicate tactical principles to meet the strategic goals. Computer skills necessary to operate WINGS, word processing, spreadsheet, database, project management, email and web- based applications. Preferred Job Skills: Bachelor's Degree in related field of study A/P license or both Previous component repair MRO managerial experience Thorough knowledge of accounting and budgeting principals necessary to read and interpret profit/loss statements, financial reports and meet financial objectives for assigned area and programs. Experience in Six Sigma or other continuous improvement strategy. Project Management experience or certification.
