Early Childhood Intervention Coach & Early On Service Coordinator -- This full time, 12 month position focuses on implementing early childhood intervention services as directed by the program director; providing personalized support and accommodations to children birth to age 5 including kindergarten entry and working closely with teachers to instruct and support individuals or small groups of students with behavior challenges; monitoring student progress, administering behavior intervention programs to identified students, coordinating with therapists and other providers and providing in-class support to children with individualized Education Programs (IEPs); also acting as the Early On Service Coordinator for eligible children and providing direct service coordination for those referred to or eligible for Early On services, including developing and implementing IFSP (Individual Family Service Plans) for eligible children.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree required. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Education-related field (preferred) Possess and maintain valid Michigan Driver's License (in compliance with HIC insurance carrier) and dependable transportation. Experience in providing individualized support and accommodations, as well as working with students with behavior challenges is important; collecting documenting and monitoring student progress and administering intensive behavior intervention programs; collaborating with physical, occupational and speech therapists and other providers; familiarity with Early On services and IFSP development. Knowledge of early childhood programming and Early Intervention Services; reporting and data collection to sufficiently meet all grant requirements and expectations; use of illuminate and IDA (Infant Toddler Development Assessment). Ability to develop or assist in the development of IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan) for children eligible for Early On. Understanding of materials used in Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy and how to implement and set up individual sensory breaks.

WAGE: Dependent upon qualifications N5 ($15-$19.48)
