Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Technician, Controls Technician, and/or Electrical Equipment Tester with experience in the electrical field, particularly in panel building and testing of electrical equipment. The candidate will be responsible for testing 600-volt battery backup enclosures to ensure functionality, durability, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This project role is scheduled to work into 2025, and could add additional projects as the year goes along.

If you have PLC and automation skills, there will be an opportunity to transition into a higher level role with some editing and modification of PLC's, and schematic design.

Required Hard Skills

• Panel building and/or wiring experience

• Reading electrical schematics

• Electrical troubleshooting

• 1-2+ years recent and relevant experience listed on resume

Preferred Skills

• Electrical box setup and electrical testing knowledge

• Testing 600V batteries for functionality and durability

• PLC editing and modification

• Panel design experience (preferred)

• Associates degree or military training in electrical systems

Soft Skills/Other

• Detail-oriented

• Willingness to learn and be taught testing procedures

• Open to 15-30% local travel for installs and troubleshooting systems
