Material Handler

Location - Wilsonville, OR

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping receiving storing and distributing of products materials parts supplies and equipment.

• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintains records of received goods rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.

• Lifts heavy items and may operate any motorized vehicle equipment within the warehouse to include but not be limited to forklifts and cherry pickers.

• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.

• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.

• Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

• Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required.

• Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.

Qualifications:

• Experience within a warehouse distribution environment.

• Experience operating material handling equipment such as but not limited to pallet jacks, electronic pallet jacks, cherry pickers, forklifts ability to use a RF scanner to pull and receive product.

• Ability to receive and inspect incoming freight and stock probably warehouse locations

Environment/ Shift:

• Standard warehouse and distribution facility, concrete floors large square footage layout, material handling equipment consistently being used.

• M-F 7-3:30pm.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
