Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Development, evaluation, management, negotiation, and review of hauling contracts.

  • Review hauler insurance certificates and endorsements for company and project compliance.

  • Obtain and submit all Owner required documentation for trucking approval.

  • Obtain, verify and approve all hauler certified payroll, invoicing, and trucking tickets.

  • Coordination with D.A. Collins Companies construction group, materials group, and shop for necessary hauling documentation.

  • Facilitate/Lead trucking committee meetings.

  • Coordination with contracts, legal department, and safety to review contract/industry regulation updates.

  • Work closely with haulers to ensure accurate and compliant documentation is received.

  • Primary point of contact between haulers and office support staff.

  • Other duty requests as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of construction administration.

  • Knowledge and advanced understanding of construction insurance and contracts.

  • Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to perform multiple tasks and within stated deadlines.

  • Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Exhibit profound attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience with office software, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat. Ability to learn company specific software programs.

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to report to work on time.

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Hourly Wage

24.00 - 28.00

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
