Responsibilities

Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and plant safety regulations in accordance to ISO 14001, DOT regulations and a minimum basic EMT license. This position resides in Tennessee but will travel to both Michigan and South Carolina locations on a monthly basis. Must be able to travel two weeks out of the month. Other duties include but not limited to:

• Perform biometric screenings, urine drug screen collections (except DOT)

• Machine and equipment knowledge including robot guarding

• Perform heat and ergonomic studies

• Lock Out/Tag Out

• Responsible for completing annual OSHA logs and notifications to include legal recordkeeping requirements

• Responsible to coordinate all injuries and reporting with Workers Compensation and TOSHA/OSHA

• Responsible for safety audits and metrics

• All other safety related tasks and responsibilities
