LifePoint Health Skilled Nursing Care Administrator in Winchester, Tennessee

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System has an opportunity for an Administrator for the Skilled Care Nursing Units in Winchester and Sewanee, Tennessee.

Bachelor's required, Master's preferred. Prefer degree to be in the area of health care administration or healthcare concentration. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), within 30 days of hire

Licenses: Must have a current and active Nursing Home Administrators license for the State of Tennessee

Develops and implements Skilled Care goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies,service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality controlobjectives. Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, andcontinuing education initiatives. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates incompliance with allocated funding.

Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
