National Lutheran Communities & Services MDS/QAPI Manager - The Village at Orchard Ridge in Winchester, Virginia

We are seeking an MDS/QAPI Manager to enhance resident care at The Village at Orchard Ridge - A National Lutheran Community. In this vital role, you will will coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment process and manages the MDS schedule. In addition, this position functions as the infection control preventions for the Health Center (IPCO).
The focus of this position is managing specialized work efficiently with above average attention to details and commitment to tasks being completed on time. This position is extremely task oriented and will need sincere communication and strong follow through. Requirements
Active RN License in good standing
MDS Certification
Training in infection control and prevention and clinical experience.
MDS Expertise: Proficient in completing and overseeing Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Quality Assurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) principles and methodologies.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams, facilitate meetings, and mentor staff in MDS and QAPI processes.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities to assess data trends and implement effective performance improvement initiatives.
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, residents, and regulatory bodies.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with Maryland state regulations related to nursing home quality assurance programs.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
