TOLMAR Inc. Human Resources Coordinator in Windsor, Colorado

Purpose and Scope Under general supervision and following established procedures, the Human Resources Coordinator position supports the HR department by performing administrative tasks related to the Human Resources and Benefits functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide overall administrative support to the Human Resources department, focusing on recruiting, benefits and associated functions, consistently maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Support HR Generalists as requested in recruiting processes, including screening applications, performing initial phone interviews, coordinating basic skills testing and scheduling on-site interviews. Support Sr. Benefits and Leave Specialist as requested in benefits-related processes, including processing all benefit program enrollments and changes for new hires, assisting with benefits PR submission and invoice reconciliation Initiate and complete the onboarding process for all new hires, including preparing materials, scheduling and coordinating new hire orientation, scheduling safety and cGMP training, providing introduction and overview at beginning of orientation, completing I-9 documentation verification and processing electronic employee information through Tolmar's HRIS, UKG. Monitor submission of online background checks, reference checks, drug screens, MVR verifications and any other requested new hire information requests. Communicate results to HR representatives as appropriate. Create and maintain employee files, including maintaining electronic employee files, moving files for terminated employees, performing periodic audits, etc. Maintain company organizational charts. Maintain HR-related spreadsheets as needed, including but not limited to requisition tracking, temporary employee assignment tracking and others. Assist in the completion of the monthly turnover report for submission to the Board of Directors. Manage the HR department's Purchase Requisitions and track expenditures in compliance with company policies and procedures. Reconcile invoices related to onboarding and employee relations, including flower vendors, cab vouchers, drug screening and physicals, event-related invoices, etc. Provide support as needed to coordinate Company events (All-Hands meetings, employee holiday events, etc.). Send special announcements to all employees. Ensure that current job openings are posted at appropriate Workforce Centers / Job Boards to ensure Affirmative Action compliance. Participate in hiring events as needed, including job fairs, university events, etc. Perform various other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Smartsheet and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws preferred. Skill in effective oral and written communication. Ability to write reports and routine business correspondence. Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidential information. Strong attention to detail. Acceptable results on both a quantitative and verbal assessment test.

Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred. At least one year of experience in a administrative Human Resources position preferred. Acceptable results on basic skill assessment.
