Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist who excels at speed and accuracy to join our client's team! The Accounts Payable Specialist will maintain current accounts and assist in invoice processing. They will also perform administrative tasks, such as managing expense reports and spreadsheets, and collaborating with other departments associated with financial and budgeting strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports

• Prepare and perform check runs

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions

• Analyze discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues

• Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors

• Provide supporting documentation for audits

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel and Word

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Familiarity with accounting software

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
