Robert Half is seeking a proactive Senior Accountant for one of our clients, a rapidly growing global manufacturer within the aerospace industry. This a newly created role, offering an environment where your knowledge and skills can make a direct impact. This role is crucial to the team, with responsibilities including the processing and maintaining of our General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Bank Account Reconciliation. You will also be involved in Month End Close, Consolidations, and GAAP Accounting processes.

In your capacity as Senior Accountant, you will support the Corporate Controller and CFO in overseeing daily, monthly, and annual corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the corporate general ledger including recording journal entries, managing supporting documents, overseeing month end close, and managing corporate consolidation.

  • Prepare daily cash summary reports and administer company credit card plan and travel reimbursement.

  • Process corporate invoices and perform accounts analysis and reconciliations (including bank statements, benefit costs, accruals, prepaid expenses).

  • Participate in audits related to corporate accounting.

    Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting or a related field, ideally with manufacturing industry experience

• Proficiency in General Ledger management is required

• Experience with Journal Entries is essential

• Expertise in Month End Close procedures is necessary

• Familiarity with the Consolidations process is required

• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting principles is a must

• Experience with Bank Account Reconciliation is required

• Ability to perform Ledger Reconciliations effectively is necessary

• A bachelor's degree in accounting is required

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
