Actalent Test Technician in Windsor, Connecticut

Our client, a leader in automated welding products, is looking for a talented Test Technician to join their team in Windsor, CT!

Responsibilities

  • Perform system integration, validation, and testing of finished products.

  • Diagnose and estimate repair requirements for customer machines.

  • Provide detailed feedback on quality and performance issues.

  • Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.

  • Collaborate with engineering to test products and resolve assembly and repair issues.

  • Follow and provide feedback on written procedures and test plans.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using test equipment.

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with wiring and motors.

  • Knowledge of AC/DC systems.

  • System integration and validation experience.

  • Understanding of GD&T and control panels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in electrical troubleshooting and testing.

  • Associate's degree in Engineering preferred.

  • Hands-on hobbies such as working on cars, tinkering, or building are beneficial.
