Job Description:

  • This position will be responsible for designing all tooling for (SLS) hardware and ensuring that the processes for tool design are followed.

  • Candidate will create tool designs working with the cognizant Manufacturing or Test Engineers.

  • andidate must ensure processes and procedures comply with all applicable Environmental, Health and Safety requirements as well as all the applicable quality requirements.

  • Must be able to review drawings and concepts and resolve producibility concerns.

  • Must be able work well in an integrated product development/ design environment.

  • Candidate must possess a positive attitude and be able communicate well with staff, IPD teams & management.

  • Desired experience should include development of tooling for complex mechanical systems, and components such as, heat exchangers, pumps, fans, & accumulators.

  • Looking for experience in 3D modeling and drafting of Mechanical Designs. Experience in PTC CREO preferred.

    Education/Qualifications:

  • Candidate should preferably have intermediate experience (2+ years and up). In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, candidate needs Associate’s Degree with 3+ years of experience or no degree with 8+ years of experience.
