Job Title: RodmanJob Description

Assist designator in carrying the locating equipment to job site and back. Assist testhole foreman in taking pictures of measure downs, utility sizes, and pavement thicknesses for test holes. Assist in performing levels and complete level notes to the top of the exposed utilities prior to backfilling testhole. Backfill, compact and patch the excavated testholes, clean and restore the areas prior to leaving the job site on a daily basis. Experience is not required, but willingness to learn and follow the direction of Party Chief with strong focus on quality of data collected. Ability in performing basic mathematical calculations is preferred.

Hard Skills

  • 0-3 years with field experience

  • High interest in surveying

  • Experience with total station or AutoCAD is preferred but not required

Soft Skills

  • Willingness to learn

  • Ability to follow directions

  • Strong focus on quality of data collected

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in WINDSOR MILL, Maryland.

Work Environment

Reporting to the Party Chief / Field Coordinator, this position is responsible for assisting the Party Chief in carrying out the survey tasks safely, effectively and in accordance with the contract documents and meet the company's Policy Manual. 100% in the field.
