Thern Inc 2nd Shift CNC Machinist in Winona, Minnesota

Thern CNC Machinist plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Thern products. This position will be responsible for helping to produce high-quality manufactured products used all over the world. The successful candidate will setup and operate conventional, special-purpose, CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. As a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist at Thern , you ll be pat of a legacy spanning over 75 years, delivering top-notch lifting, pulling and positioning equipment to various industries. We re seeking a dynamic individual with high level attention to detail and a drive for results for CNC Machinist role. Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performing quality inspections on product. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Operates machine to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required. Verifies conformance of finished workpiece using measuring and inspection tools. Sets up and operates machine to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
