Actalent Senior Hardware Engineer in Winona, Minnesota

Job Title: Hardware EngineerJob Description

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be instrumental in providing electronic technical expertise across a range of areas. This includes the design of electronic products, production, and sustainment. You will be responsible for providing technical support for component-related issues, guiding technicians with product testing and debugging, and contributing to the redesign of PCBA components with a focus on value engineering. You will need to be familiar with the PCBA components and market commodities to assess material suitability and standard parts identification. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute to cost reduction efforts for materials.

Hard Skills

  • 4+ years of experience with Electronics design at the PCB level

  • Ability to understand PCB component level schematics

  • Ability to use standard test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes

  • Understanding of application and critical characteristics of typical electronics components

  • Schematic Capture

  • Altium

Soft Skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to logically troubleshoot PCBs to the component level

Work Environment.

The work environment will be primarily in a onsite setting, with some time required in electronics
