Overview

The Cook Co-op program provides hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform projects that align with the company's current business objectives.- Attend Intern events that provide professional development & overview of the business.- Share knowledge and experiences gained through the Internship with a Capstone presentation.- Work alongside team/mentor cross functionally to complete projects and tasks.- Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth.

• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.- Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should preferably be students entering their Junior or Senior year the following fall semester or entering graduate school.- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.- All candidates must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.

Physical Requirements:

• Works under general office environmental conditions• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.•Occasionally lifting with minimal exertion during shift• Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves may be required in some areas associated with this position
