The Service Technician – Winter Garden has a key role in the Volvo Group | Prevost Division in order to perform skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of coaches. Responsibilities will routinely involve repair or replacement of defective parts. Responsibilities will also include trouble-shooting repair needs which are difficult to identify, diagnosing complaints and independently completing repair projects. Responsibilities may also be assigned for providing training and guidance to workers performing routine preventive maintenance work. You will be located in Winter Garden, FL.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine coach repair, maintenance and inspections;

Works independently or in a team environment without supervision;

Communicates effectively and professionally with supervisors and customers regarding repairs;

Replacement of defective parts and follow the warranty process where applicable;

Perform building & equipment maintenance, general housekeeping where applicable;

Perform other duties as assigned;

Complete paper/computer on a daily basis.

Education and experience:

Qualified mechanical experience;

Be go to person in areas of expertise (Electrical, HVAC, Slide Out, Pneumatics & Body Repair);

Assisting customers over the phone with technical issues and/or questions;

Commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement preferred; bonus pay for this;

EPA certification for the handling of refrigerant; (a good +)(we can provide).

Key competencies:

Proficient with computer general knowledge and engine/trans/chassis programs;

Proactively acquires and expands knowledge of the latest technology and systems in the industry;

Ability to look up parts efficiently;

Troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
