Position Details:

• Location: Winter Haven Hospital

• Status: Full time

• Shift: 8:00am -4:30pm

• Days: Monday through Friday (Occasional Saturday's for events)

This Health Care Navigator opportunity is a full-time position requiring on-site work within the Winter Haven Hospital.

Responsibilities:

The Health Care Navigator is responsible for providing eligibility and enrollment assistance to uninsured and underinsured individuals and families and to anyone seeking more affordable health care options. The Health Care Navigator is required to participate in community events, travel to offsite locations to meet with individuals, and public speaking to raise awareness about health insurance coverage options. As part of the Financial Assistance department, this position will support all efforts to assist the uninsured and underinsured patients, as well as insured patients with health care access issues; including enrollment, education, appointments, transportation and prescriptions.
