Your Role:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of each patient’s condition.
Develop personalized care plans, specifying type and frequency of treatments.
Implement treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
Accurately document patient evaluations, progress, and outcomes.
Educate patients and families on the recovery process and treatment goals.
Assist with patient discharge planning for a smooth transition from therapy.
Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and support programs.
Supervise and delegate tasks to physical therapy assistants in compliance with state regulations.
What You Bring:
Licensure: Maine State Physical Therapy Licensure required; new grads welcome!Driver's License: Maine State Driver's License with a clean record required.Certification: BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers preferred.Communication: Strong ability to explain treatment plans clearly to patients and families.Problem-Solving: Critical thinking skills to develop creative solutions for complex cases.Team Collaboration: Thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the latest therapy modalities and adaptive equipment.Compassion: A genuine passion for helping patients improve their mobility and quality of life.
