Job Summary

Title: Financial AnalystReports To: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Status: Salary

Under the direction of the Director of FP&A, the Financial Analyst will manage and drive improvement in financial reporting, planning and analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of long-range plans, annual plans, and quarterly forecasts

• Perform weekly cash flow analysis and forecasting

• Prepare financial reports comparing actual results against budgets and prior year results

• Serve as the key analytical role supporting strategy and planning

• Develop KPI's and monitor progress against a reporting dashboard

• Ad Hoc projects involving analysis and reporting

• Other duties as assigned

  QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years of business experience with significant forecasting, planning and analysis experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to build relationships with other parts of the business

• Strong business acumen and judgment

• Ability to simplify and communicate financial issues with non-finance business partners

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products; expertise in MS Excel

• CMA, CSCA, CPA, or MBA preferred

• Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Professional presence is required

• Occasional travel may be required
