Vontier Sr. Product Manager in Wisconsin
We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager who is a results-driven leader with a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making. They are well-versed in communicating with customers, vendors, and various levels of leadership. They will coordinate cross-functional teams to plan, initiate, and deploy strategic product development. This is a hybrid role based in our Janesville, WI Plant.
The Sr. Product Manager will perform the following duties to support the team’s goals and other assigned duties:
Develop and execute product and marketing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new product development
Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize features.
Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including post-launch performance analysis and optimization
Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders
Mentor and guide junior product managers and team members
Assess competitors’ products and pricing
Assess product reliability and customer satisfaction
Develop spares/AMO strategy for assigned product lines
Build pricing strategy for assigned products, spares, and service
Monitor product line gross margin
In this role you will be responsible for, leading the product strategy, development, and execution for our key product lines. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to drive product innovation and growth.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools
Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term product strategies that align with business goals
Market Analysis: Strong skills in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into product features and improvements
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions
