Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in WIXOM, Michigan for an Accounts Receivable role in the industry. This role is critical to our team and involves a range of responsibilities centered around handling customer accounts and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications.

• Maintaining precise records of customer credit.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions when needed.

• Preparing and sending out invoices to customers on a weekly basis.

• Handling data entry tasks for around half of the work time.

• Applying cash applications and posting cash for maintaining accurate records.

• Preparing bank deposits, charge backs, and credit memos.

• Communicating with vendors via email and phone.

• Preparing journal entries and posting to GL.

• Reconciliation of aging reports. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Collections and Cash Applications

• Strong ability to use Microsoft Excel for data organization and reporting

• Familiarity with QAD or similar financial software

• Experience in preparing and analyzing Aging Reports

• Accurate and efficient Data Entry skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
