Lead engineering efforts for OEM automotive customers focusing on frunk latches; ensure compliance with Kiekert standards and oversee design validation (DV) and product validation (PV) processes; manage extensive testing for designated programs; coordinate program launches from design through production, conducting weekly design review meetings with customers to ensure seamless communication and effective solution delivery; perform detailed root cause analysis to identify and resolve mechanical issues, including redesigning release levers to accommodate increased weight demands; and collaborate effectively with suppliers, prototype shops, CAD, and CAE departments to rapidly develop and implement enhanced, durable solutions.
