Robert Half Help Desk Analyst II in Woburn, Massachusetts

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in Woburn, Massachusetts. As a Help Desk Analyst II, you will play a pivotal role in our IT support team, providing critical assistance in various areas including laptop deployment and replacement, OneDrive migration, Windows Hello setup, general helpdesk support and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the configuration and deployment of new laptops, including hardware setup, software installation, and necessary configurations.

• Ensure seamless replacement of old or malfunctioning laptops with new devices, minimizing disruption to the user's workflow.

• Facilitate data transfer and backup for the laptop replacement process.

• Provide guidance and support on using OneDrive effectively, including file sharing, collaboration, and storage management.

• Assist employees in migrating their files and data to OneDrive, ensuring safe transfer of all important documents.

• Manage setup and configuration of Windows Hello for employees, providing secure and convenient authentication methods.

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

• Document and track support requests and resolutions using the helpdesk ticketing system.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation for hardware and software configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Deliver excellent customer service and support to ensure a positive experience for all employees.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or similar IT support role

• Proficient in deploying OneDrive in a business environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues

• Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users

• Ability to prioritize and manage several open cases at one time

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Willingness to stay updated on the latest technology and industry trends

• Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is desirable. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
