LOCATION

SUMMARY
The Director of Capture Management is responsible for leading capture efforts, overseeing capture managers, conducting market analysis, and devising capture strategies to win contracts supporting DoD, US/foreign governments, and OEMs. This leader will work closely with internal stakeholders, defense contractors, prime contractors, and OEMs in developing executable support and sustainment strategies resulting in lower life cycle costs for the customer, and reasonable profit for AAR.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Win contracts supporting DoD, US/foreign governments, and OEMs, and develop strategies to grow these markets
Interacts and collaborates across AAR’s functional staffs and other AAR business units to generate cost effective winning capture strategies
Develops and supports the creation and pursuit of a capture pipeline in accordance with AAR strategic goals
Contributes and recommends business and marketing strategies to achieve maximum penetration consistent with Company financial objectives
Prepares customer and internal presentations
Supports, communicates, reinforces, and defends the mission, values and culture of AAR
Ensures all capture activity is conducted in a compliant and ethical manner consistent with Government laws and the high standards of AAR

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
15 years of related professional experience in defense or the defense industry with a focus on Product Support and Integration, CLS, and/or supply chain management is required.
Knowledge of USG and FMS program/contracting processes and acquisition/sustainment strategies.
Must have ability to obtain up to Top Secret level clearance.
Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
