The Vendor Master Data Team Lead is responsible for governance, process improvements, and problem resolution for vendor master data for all ERP systems within AAR. Comply with AAR vendor setup policy and provide support to the Vendor Master Data Specialist as required. Ensure requests from the business are process timely and follow-up internal guidelines. Ensure compliance and changes to master data are made following business policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with internal audit, manager and directors as required to update policy.

  • Provide leadership for daily support and ongoing operation of the systems used globally.

  • Receive and process vendor requests from business units.

  • Develop and publish SLA for vendor master data requests

  • Monitor and follow-up as required to meet Service Level Agreements.

  • Assist to improve validation and quality reviews.

  • Provide training support as required for the Vendor Master Group.

  • Maintain internal controls as required by the policy for vendor setup/maintenance.

  • Notify participating business units of added and/or deleted vendors.

  • Provide input and recommendations for training improvements.

  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2 -3 years of related experience with vendor master data

  • Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy.

  • Understanding of data management principles and best practice.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel, preferred.

  • At least 2 – 3 years of experience with master data setup.
