Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an experienced Business Systems Analyst in Woodbridge, New Jersey. You will play a critical role in the management and optimization of our organization's data assets. As part of our team, you will work closely with various stakeholders, cataloging, organizing, and maintaining metadata related to various data sources.

Responsibilities:

• Capture and document data requirements, definitions, and business rules to support data governance and compliance efforts.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data stewardship, metrics definitions and relationships for inclusion in Data Catalog.

• Implement data catalogs for data asset metadata.

• Assure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by implementing data governance best practices and quality assurance processes.

• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of data catalog solutions.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

• Coordinate with developers and other team members to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, coordinating activities and dependencies across different teams and departments.

• Foster collaboration and teamwork to achieve program goals.

• Manage catalog management, business analysis, detailed business requirements, data integrity, and data asset skills. Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.

• 5 years of experience in requirements gathering with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and initiatives.

• 5 years of experience implementing data catalog or similar solutions for data assets inventory

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of data and analytics reporting and dashboard development and content

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on results.

• Experience in ticketing management software and tools (e.g., ServiceNOW)

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing circumstances and requirements.
