Robert Half Tableau Developer in Woodbridge, New Jersey

Description We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our team and support our healthcare client in leveraging data visualization tools to enhance decision-making processes and drive insights. As a Tableau Developer, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, analysts, and executives, to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and dashboards. Your primary responsibility will be designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into healthcare data, such as patient outcomes, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs.

Design and develop Tableau reports and dashboards that meet the specific needs of healthcare professionals and executives.

Utilize Tableau best practices to optimize performance and ensure scalability of visualizations.

Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of visualizations.

Work closely with data engineers and analysts to integrate data from various sources into Tableau.

Provide training and support to end-users on how to interpret and utilize Tableau visualizations effectively.

Stay up-to-date with Tableau best practices, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve the effectiveness of data visualization solutions. Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.

  • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including data visualization, dashboard development, and administration.

  • Experience with SQL and data manipulation techniques for data extraction and analysis.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
