Robert Half Temporary Administrator Conference Operations in Woodbridge, New Jersey

Description

We are seeking a contract Administrator Conference Operations to join our team. The primary function of this role is to manage and perform operations duties in support of conference operations. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, responsible for the processing of conference applications, publications, and customer inquiries. This position is an exciting opportunity in the detail oriented Associations industry.

Responsibilities • Manage and process conference applications, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines. • Provide complete and accurate information to internal and external customers in a timely and efficient manner. • Collaborate with the team in processing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and managing must be eligible to work in the U.S. workflow. • Review conference sponsors to ensure compliance with laws and policies. • Work in the conference database to review conference history and individual sponsor needs. • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned publications, including reporting and issue resolution. • Educate and assist conference organizers with electronic publishing requirements and content submission. • Provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries, routing requests and projects to the appropriate subject matter expert for follow up and execution. • Recommend changes in department procedures and processes as needed. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) to manage and organize data.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Experience in answering inbound and outbound calls professionally

• Ability to handle customer service inquiries and maintain high service standards

• Demonstrated ability in data entry with high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Experience in email correspondence, ensuring clear and detail oriented communication

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive problem-solving abilities and initiative

• Previous administrative or conference operations experience would be advantageous
