As a Full-Time Imagining Coordinator at Minnesota Urology P.A., you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate, patient-focused care. The Imaging Coordinator works directly with the patient care team to organize, coordinate, and maintain patient treatment plans. As the first point of contact with the Imaging department, this position provides exceptional customer service to patients and visitors and schedules imaging appointments, coordinates delivery of radioactive injectables and verifies insurance for all radiology patients. In addition, the Imaging Coordinator performs administrative and receptionist functions including preparation and maintenance of patient records, previous imaging, and serves as a resource to staff regarding imaging protocols. This role provides the link between staff, patients, families, care providers, and other departments. What we're looking for in a Clinical Assistant To thrive as a Imaging Coordinator at Minnesota Urology P.A., a variety of skills and qualifications are essential. First and foremost, you must be a high school graduate, and have some healthcare experience. A compassionate approach is vital when interacting with patients, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their healthcare journey. Proficiency in medical software and tools will streamline your communication with the clinical services team, making you an effective problem solver. Additionally, a patient-focused mindset will enhance your ability to provide personal education and training, fostering trust and engagement with those you serve. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Vocational/technical training, diploma or associate's degree preferred. Prior experience in a high-level customer service role within healthcare field. Two or more years of previous scheduling experience in a healthcare One year of previous Radiology scheduling experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Previous experience with insurance authorizations preferred. Previous experience with Athena, EPIC, is preferred. Will you join our team?
