HR Manager with Staff Management Experience

Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a personable, adaptable, hands on Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our manufacturing client. In this role, you will be expected to oversee hiring processes, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will also handle full cycle payroll and benefit functions, and use ADP Workforce Now as part of your daily tasks.

As the HR Manager, you will:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the hiring process, from job posting to employee onboarding.

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Foster positive employee relations and resolve any issues that may arise in a professional and timely manner.

• Oversee full cycle payroll processing, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Manage benefit functions, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.

• Use ADP Workforce Now to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed.

• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing timely updates on HR initiatives and changes.

• Monitor and address any potential compliance issues, taking necessary action to prevent or correct violations.

• Regularly review and update HR practices to ensure they meet the needs of the organization and its employees.

• Manage, develop and mentor HR staff

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role within the manufacturing industry.

• Proven experience with ADP Workforce Now software.

• Demonstrable knowledge of various benefit functions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory matters related to Human Resources.

• Experience in managing employee relations and fostering a positive work environment.

• Proficiency in hiring processes, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding.

• Experience in full cycle payroll processing and management.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High ethical standards and an understanding of confidentiality requirements.

• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
