BIO RAD LABORATORIES - 390 Scientist, Senior Staff in Woodinville, Washington

As a Senior Staff Scientist within our Global Assay Development Organization, you'll be right at the forefront of Bio-Rad's world class global Research & Development capability - focusing on multiplex immunoassay technology of cutting-edge in-vitro diagnostics systems. Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, you'll maintain our existing core diagnostics platforms. You'll also execute on an exciting new product roadmap that helps to support our ambitious clinical diagnostics strategy, drives long term growth for the company, and propels fertility healthcare into the future. How You'll Make An Impact: Leading multiple technical projects aimed to address performance and manufacturability of BioPlex multiplex immunoassays. Provide technical leadership, design strategies, generate study plans to validate manufacturing process for new product development projects. Team leader - provide guidance and supervision to other scientists. Lead the team to perform experiments, analyze and compile data in a report. Review data in a team setting. Represent team and its data/recommendations in business meetings and to business leadership. Act as a technical consultant on cross-functional projects or programs. Enable cross functional collaboration with MSAT, QC, manufacturing, marketing, QA and RA teams. Provide technical expertise to the manufacturing team, participate in the troubleshooting and problem solving. Participate in functional and cross-functional training to advance technical capabilities. Maintain training and compliance with all required laboratory quality and safety procedures. What You Bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent with sufficient work history and experience. PhD in a discipline directly related to the targeted area of expertise is strongly preferred. 12+ years of experience related to the targeted area of technical expertise (experience depends on education level). Experience in the area of technology or scientific field assigned to is preferred. Experience in originating patentable, innovative concepts. Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,100 to $192,600 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
