BIO RAD LABORATORIES - 390 Supplier Quality Engineer I in Woodinville, Washington

As a Bio-Rad Supplier Quality Engineer I,you will support the management of supplier quality systems, conduct audits on supplier performance, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure all materials sourced from suppliers meet our high standards for quality, and reliability. How You'll Make An Impact: Perform initial and periodic quality audits of suppliers to verify compliance with company and industry standards. Partner with suppliers to develop and sustain effective quality control processes. Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve supplier-related quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective action. Assist in the supplier approval and qualification process by evaluating supplier quality capabilities. Track supplier performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Review and interpret quality documentation, including inspection records, certifications, and testing data. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality metrics and reports for supplier performance. Maintain detailed supplier quality records and documentation in line with quality management system (QMS) requirements. Support the resolution of non-conformance issues and track non-conformance reports (NCRs). Participate in supplier meetings to address quality concerns and provide insights. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in a quality-related role, ideally in supplier or manufacturing quality. Foundational knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma). Proficiency in MS Office Minitab, & experience with quality software is beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. High attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Preferred Qualifications but not required Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. Knowledge of statistical analysis and measurement techniques. Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,200 to $96,600 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
