Robert Half Accounts Receivable Manager in Woodland Hills, California

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Develop and implement strategic plans for the accounts receivable department to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

· Provide strong leadership to the accounts receivable team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

· Oversee the billing and invoicing process to ensure accurate and timely submission of invoices to clients.

· Review and verify billing documentation for completeness and accuracy.

· Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits in collaboration with the credit department.

· Monitor and manage customer credit accounts, ensuring adherence to established credit terms.

· Implement and maintain effective collections strategies to reduce outstanding receivables.

· Work closely with the collections team to address and resolve customer payment issues promptly.

· Conduct regular reconciliation of customer accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve outstanding issues.

· Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.

· Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to assess department performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on the financial health of accounts receivable.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the accounts receivable function.

· Implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance overall department efficiency.

· Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate smooth communication and resolution of payment-related issues.

· Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns.


· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or similar role.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

· Excellent leadership and communication skills.

· Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel.

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
