Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Sr. Accountant for our team based in Woodland Hills, California. This role is integral to our financial operations, and involves a variety of responsibilities including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their skills and experience to contribute to our financial accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of all financial data

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to maintain financial transparency

• Manage bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date

• Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present financial data

• Conduct month end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting

• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage financial data and processes

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the financial reporting cycle

• Ensure all financial procedures and policies are adhered to

• Collaborate with other team members to optimize financial procedures and operations.

Requirements • Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Possess 5 or more years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Expertise in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries.

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures.

• Proficiency in using accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team.

• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not required.
